This is a brand new Innovation Work Group, led by Yuvraj Nirwal (The Green School Trust).

Stretching High Attaining Mathematics Students in Key Stage 4/5

Developing opportunities for pattern spotting, generalising and conjecturing while embedding fluency

Join this workgroup to share and contribute as well as learn. Take part in some collaborative planning and classroom ready resources to use.

Discuss when best to introduce an open, rich task in the learning journey.

Learn how to develop problem solving and mathematical thinking.

Develop activities that help the transition from GCSE maths to A Level maths

Monday 11th May – Session 1 11.00am – 12.30am

Monday 18th May – Session 2 11.00am – 12.30am

Monday 1st June – Session 3 11.00am – 12.30am

Schools will be expected to release participants for the days required and to support them in providing time for collaborative work with the in-school and partner school colleagues.
